Introducing VectoFix: Paint Over What Broke

VectoFix is a new Windows app built around one idea: a vectorizer that doesn't compare its own result to the source image can't tell you what it got wrong — so it never does. VectoFix does, and lets you fix it.

How it works

• Open a PNG, JPG or SVG — it's traced automatically, no setting to touch first
• VectoFix re-rasterizes its own result and compares it, pixel by pixel, to your source
• A damage map highlights exactly where the trace drifted furthest from the original
• Paint over a damaged zone and it re-traces itself, stitched back into the SVG — 60 to 80% less error, in under a second

Built for what other tools give up on

Classic image-trace tools are built for flat logos and struggle with photos, gradients and rich illustrations — the trace turns to banding or an explosion of shapes. That's exactly the territory VectoFix targets: not replacing a general vectorizer, but repairing the specific zones where any vectorizer — including a good one — loses ground.

Nothing hidden

Fidelity and node count are shown together, always, because they trade against each other — retracing a zone makes it more accurate and heavier, never one without the other. Two treatment modes, Faithful and Light, are available per stroke, so a face and a flat background in the same image can each get the right amount of detail.

VectoFix is a one-time purchase, €39, no subscription. The trial is fully functional — vectorization, damage map, magic brush, both modes, all unlimited — only the export is locked (lower resolution, watermark) until a license is activated.
